Summer Ball Hockey Mini (formerly known as August Ball Hockey) is played on the surface of a full size indoor hockey rink with a hard orange ball. 5 players and a goalie, compete against the opposing team's six players. Extra players are kept on each bench, outside the playing surface, and interchanged with the six on the floor either during play or at a stoppage of play. Each game has two qualified referees and one timekeeper. Mandatory equipment includes running shoes, CSA approved hockey gloves and helmet with the chin strap properly fastened. If you are under 18, you will be required to wear full facial protection. For 18 and over, no face protection is required. We offer Men's & Coed

All attacking players require 2 games in mini league to qualify for playoffs. Goalies require 1.

Here is a list of what is provided to teams
July 9 - Start Date
•8 game season for Men’s,
•Games are played Monday Through Thursday
•All teams Qualify for playoffs.
•No games will be scheduled during Nats A, B, C, D. Dependant on Participants
•2 games per week. Possibly 3 games a few times.
•Games are at Glenwood Arena & St. Norbert
•2 Qualified Referees and 1 timekeeper at every game.
•Canadian Ball Hockey Association rules and regulations.
•2024 Spring League Basic Rules apply
•Live Score updates.
•Daily statistical updates and league info on our easy to follow website.
•2 games to qualify for playoffs for attackers. 1 for goalie
The cost to enter a Team for 5 on 5 is is $1450.00 Mens and $1400.00 for Coed (includes GST) if you pay in FULL by your 1st game.
If you do not pay in full at game #1 you will go on the League payment plan, and this adds an additional $75.00 to your total team fee.
The cost to enter a Team for 3 on 3 Half rink is $700.00 Mens. (includes GST) if you pay in FULL by your 1st game.
If you do not pay in full at game #1 you will go on the League payment plan, and this adds an additional $50.00 to your total team fee.
A $400.00 Deposit is due to enter a team into the 2024 Summer Mini Ball Hockey League.
Men's Payment plan is as follows:
$400.00 Deposit
$400.00 due at your 1st game of season
$400.00 due at your 3th game of season
$350.00.00 due at your 6th game of season
