2025 August Mini League

WBHL SUMMER MINI BALL HOCKEY

 

Played 5‑on‑5 with a hard orange ball on a full‑size indoor rink. Each side dresses 19 of up to 26 rostered players (5 runners + goalie on the floor, extras interchange on the fly). Two certified referees and a timekeeper work every game.

 

 

COMPETITIVE  •  $1,300 / team  •  Champions will win $1,000 credit toward next Season Fees.


CASUAL       •  $1,100 / team

$600 deposit, Full fee Due by August 4th 2025

Failure to reach full payment by August 4, 2025 will result in a removal from the schedule with no return on deposit.  

14‑team cap (any mix of divisions).
Format subeject to changes based off the amount of teams signed up.

Season Snapshot

  • Games: 6 Game mini season, Top 4 go to playoffs

  • Dates: Three‑week blitz in August 4 till  Aug 22 (Mon–Thu nights; two games per team each week).

  • Venues: West Kildonan Arena.

  • Equipment:

  • Running shoes, CSA‑approved helmet (chin‑strap fastened) & hockey gloves mandatory.
    Under‑18 must wear full facial protection; 18+ optional.

 

  • Rules: Full WBHL 2025 Rulebook with these mini tweaks:

    1. Roster limit 26 players / 19 dressed.

    2. Eligibility: Players need 3 of 6 regular‑season games (goalies 1) to play in playoffs.

    3. Casual can only have 2 competative players max per team on roster. 

  • Live stats & scoring updated nightly on winnipegballhockey.com.
